If you didn’t know this — and you should if you follow me on Twitter — we finally got our wedding pictures from our photographer. And today, I will give you guys a little sneak peek. Because I love you all so much!
Our photographer sent us the link to our photos, but we don’t have the USB yet (should be in the mail today), so I can’t start the recap posts until I have that USB. Trust me…it’s been killing me!
How did you other brides sift through the 900+ pictures you get back? I’m having a hard time deciding on my favorites, because they are all amazing. All 900 have been edited and close to 1/2 are black and white images. I just don’t know how I am going to choose which ones to feature on the blog….there are too many!
So here we go!
The day started out cloudy, but we all had hopes that it would clear up and be sunny. Well, that didn’t really happen. The weather did clear up for our ceremony and we got some kick ass first look pictures because of the rain, but it wasn’t all sunshine for our wedding day. It didn’t downpour, but there are some pictures I will feature later that you can clearly tell it rained…like a huge black cloud.
After I got my dress on and finished up with my makeup, I had a first look with my dad. I will feature that later but if you have an opportunity to do this, you really should! The pictures turned out amazingly well and it was such a fun moment to have with him.
After my dad and I had our first look, I went out and took some bridal portraits around the property. These pictures turned out so freaking well. I can’t wait to show you guys all of them (well…some of them), but here is a sneak peek below.

This is me trying to “Smize”…how well did I do? Haha!
After feeling like a model, it was time to go meet Jeremy for our first look. We decided to have our first look at a different location and it was only us — no bridal party. I highly recommend doing this, because it’s such an emotional moment. You don’t want other people witnessing it — or I didn’t. Maybe I’m weird.
Then it was time for our ceremony…and bam. We were married.
Before we knew it, it was dark and we were partying.
I can’t wait to start the recap posts!
