Happy Cyber Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. Ours was very low key. It was just Jeremy and myself so we ate some food and watched a lot of football, but it was pretty perfect.
This is the green bean casserole that I made. It is a family recipe and I will post it on the blog this week for sure if you guys are interested.
On Friday I decided to go shopping. Yep. I went out on Black Friday. And I only went to one store, Target.
I went around 11am and I can say that I will probably be going next year too (maybe even on Thursday if they keep doing that). I didn’t have to wait in line to check out and they had everything that I was looking for in stock. When I got back from shopping it was time to get the Christmas decorations out and get our place decorated. I love decorating for Christmas…and the Christmas season in general is my favorite.
The tree is up, presents are under it and wrapped and the stockings are hung. The table is set and ready to be used. One thing I love is putting everything out the day after Thanksgiving. To me, that is when the holiday season really starts. I just feel weird putting things out earlier than that.
Did you go out to shop for Black Friday?
