I have seen a few of these types of posts going around blogland. Thanks Helene for giving me something to write about today! (She does these types of posts every Thursday. Might as well join in, right?) So, I figured I would attempt my own version.
So, the Government finally came to an agreement. I am not getting into politics on the blog, so don’t worry. But I am going to list 5 things that are better than the Government making nice.
1. Christian Gray bowed out of the movie.
Gasp! So, I tried…I really did try to read this book but man…it was awful. I just couldn’t make myself sit and read that garbage. I didn’t really care about the sex. It was just awful writing…but this has been all over the news lately so obviously someone cares.
2. Kris Humphries (remember him?) sold Kim K’s engagement ring at auction.
The ring supposedly valued at $2.2 million at the time it was purchased, was sold for $620,000. I bet he is really really regretting that relationship now. You know, after all the paparazzi and the reality show. Oh and that wedding. Yea.
3. Ruben Studdard is a contestant on The Biggest Loser.
Remember him? You don’t? He was the winner of Season 2 of American Idol. Yes, I actually watched that season and I wanted Clay Aiken to win. Don’t worry…I’m embarrassed enough for more ridicule.
4. After her 2 year Vegas stay, Britney announced that she will probably take a hiatus.
I had no idea she even knew what that word meant! Who knew? Good luck Brit Brit. I loved you back in high school and wish you well!
5. Mischa Barton recently came out and said that she had a breakdown over the success of “The O.C”.
Partying all night doesn’t sound fun when you end up in a psych ward. I’d probably end up with the same fate!
Besides her amazing recipes (and she has a lot that I MUST fix), she blogs about her life. She recently turned 23. Such a baby in my eyes! Or maybe it’s because I am so dang old. Arg! I have to let it slide that she went to my rival college. It’s fine. It’s not just the best rivalry in the south…no big deal. I think the Tigers can take the Tide any day. (obviously I don’t really think we can beat Bama this year). Speaking of college, she blogged about things to remember in college. When I read this, I just kept nodding my head. It’s so so true, everything she says.
If I haven’t convinced you to check her out, then maybe this other delicious looking recipe will sway you. I mean, she is making me want to give up my Weight Watchers #operation5pounds goal.
You guys can swoon over her posts about her Fall wishlist (she wants a purse that is seriously amazeballs) and she is there to help you transition from a college wardrobe to professional one. If I had had this great advice when I started my desk job, I would have some great staple pieces in my wardrobe. There are some that I don’t have that she mentions. I need to get on that!
