I have said how much of a fan I am so I won’t bore you with all of that. But I am a huge fan and luckily Jeremy understands my love of HP and was willing to get on 2 roller coasters for me! He is such a trooper. I think the best thing to do is show you in pictures.
This is right when you walk into Hogsmede. I wish that they had Platform 9 3/4 but it’s ok. It was still oh so magical.
I mean, how cool is this? Yep. It’s Hogwarts Express.
This was the conductor to Hogwart’s Express and he sounded like he had a British accent. If he is British or not is still up in the air, but the accent was believable.
I might have been most excited about the Butterbeer. It was non-alcoholic and really sweet. I recommend only having one. I had 2 and it was a bit too much. But it was so delicious…it didn’t matter.
After we waited in line for the wand demonstration (very similar to what is in the first movie when Harry gets his wand), we went to the adjacent store and I picked out a wand. Yes. I bought a wand. Jeremy insisted I swear! As we were walking around the shop, I tried on a robe and flicked the wand around.
The castle. This was probably the best thing of the whole experience. There is a ride in there and I wish we had taken pictures but we put all of our stuff in the lockers. Anyways, it was so amazing. Such a great queue line and great ride.
Proof that Jeremy went with me! Haha.
Here is my loot from the gift shop:
I can’t help myself!
The cup for my Butterbeer; a chocolate frog (delicious)…my card was Slytherin; my new coffee cup. I love it so much! It’s huge!
My wand. I love it!
I loved going and I want to go back. This was probably the best thing about our whole trip and it was the best day to go. I highly recommend you guys going.
