I am on vacation this week. Woo hoo! We are up in Cape Cod, MA. Jealous? It’s awesome! I love it up here. I will be recapping our trip when I get back. It’s weird to be blogging, but not near a computer! Oh the Scheduler function of Blogger–I love you!
Since I am on vacation, I want to take some time to talk about some of my favorite trips I have taken. This trip was one of the first trips I took with Jeremy and it was definitely amazing. We flew to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Why Puerto Rico? Well, it’s gorgeous! And it’s fun. And there is a beach. In all seriousness though, we went there because that is where Jeremy’s friends decided to go.
Let me explain something real quick. Jeremy is from Indiana. What is up in Indiana? Corn, and lots of it. Miles and miles of it as you drive down the interstate, or little 2 lane roads to go from town to town. When he was growing up, he had some great friends. These friends decided to have a party each year after they graduated college. This party started when they were in high school, but they all went to Purdue (they are from Indiana) so when they graduated college they wanted to still see each other once a year. I love this concept. It really is genius.
So, his friends decided to go to Puerto Rico. Jeremy and I had been dating a little over a year by the time we went there. We weren’t living together yet and this was our first trip together on a plane. We had been on roadtrips together (and a good amount of long trips) but never on a plane together. This trip was awesome. It really was. So, now it’s time for some pictures. Brace yourselves for the craziness!
This was taken right after Jeremy and I got to Puerto Rico. We met up with some of his friends for some beers.
Here is the whole group the next day at the beach. So amazing.
So funny story. This place we were eating at brought us boxes of beers. I have no idea how much these were but we somehow were able to get someone to bring us boxes of beers out to us at the beach. So we would be in the ocean and someone would chuck beers to us that were in the water. Pretty awesome, if you ask me!
After drinking all day. Haha! It was awesome.
This is the next day on our way to get some lunch. We didn’t actually eat anything (I don’t think we did…I can’t remember). But we did have drinks. Lots of drinks this day. Lordy. I am getting sick just thinking about it.
I am going to leave it at that. This post was getting too long, so stay tuned for Part 2 tomorrow! I will be talking more about the historic fort that they have and obviously, there will be lots of crazy drinking pictures. So stay tuned and come back tomorrow!
