We all want beautiful and attractive skin, right? Your skin is the first thing people notice about you. It’s the first thing that they could judge about you. So, if you don’t have perfect skin, like me, you know you need to change up your routine. I firmly believe that beautiful skin can be achieved – you just have to try new things and be patient.
I was on Twitter earlier this week and I noticed that Jenn had mentioned Lush products in one of her posts. I have never used a Lush product before, so of course, I asked her about it. So, here is my dilemma.
My skin is breaking out again (I have been eating a ton of chocolate, but I can’t seem to give it up), and I think what I am using just isn’t quite working anymore. I am mostly in need of a new cleanser and potential toner.
I am intrigued by the Lush products, but I haven’t pulled the trigger to buy any yet. To say I am terrified of what might happen to my face if I use one of their products is an understatement. I don’t change my routine often. Typically, I find something that works and I stick to it. Changing things up could mean my face becomes that of a teenage, and no one wants that – especially me.
But here is my biggest problem:
I have acne-prone skin that is incredibly sensitive. I use my Clarisonic Mia2 every other day. I have a dermatologist routine that I will continue to use (this includes topicals and pills).
I am in search of a new cleanser. The one I am using now is CeraVe, which is for sensative skin, but I think I can find something else that might do a better job. I am just tired of looking like a teenager when I am 31. It’s super fun to have so many breakouts when you are this old.
Do you guys have any suggestions on a new cleanser for acne-prone, sensitive skin?
