There are only a few (and a very few) artists that I want to see in concert.
- Mumford and Sons
One thing you probably don’t know about me: I am IN LOVE with Mumford and Sons. I have loved their music for such a long time. Remember when they were nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist? They performed and I just fell in love right then and there.
I know they are a Christian band and while I don’t normally listen to Christian music, I can’t help myself with them. They just figured out a way to get their message out while staying mainstream and hip. Who knew, right?
Anyways, they came to Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, GA. It was a hot evening and we were there with probably 20,000 of our closest friends. It sure felt that way once Mumford came on. There was also some fabulous people watching while we were there.
I have a bone to pick with them though. They didn’t play “Hopeless Wanderer” and that made me very sad! They played almost every other song. If you don’t know what song this is, look it up on YouTube. The video is amazing…so hilarious. I don’t think anyone wants a full recap of the concert. I am going to leave you with pictures (from my iPhone…don’t judge too harshly). I also have some videos for your view pleasure. You are welcome!
Something I didn’t know before this concert — iPhone 5 zoom sucks. It doesn’t zoom very far at all and it has a hard time focusing after you do zoom. For that reason, most of these pictures aren’t zoomed at all. We were that close.
Now for the videos:
