No really. We really might have lost our minds. We are honestly thinking about trying to get tickets to the BCS National Championship Game in Pasadena, CA. I obviously would love to go since it’s my team. And Jeremy says that it is on his bucket list to go to all the big time games — like the World Series, Super Bowl, Championship game (whatever they are going to call it next year).
So, you can only imagine our excitement when Michigan State wow Ohio State and won. And that meant that Auburn gets in to the Championship game. NO ONE and I mean NO ONE even had Auburn on their radars earlier this year. Then we start winning and beating ranked teams. BAM! That is all I have to say to the naysayers.
Why exactly am I telling you this? Tomorrow tickets are released to the general public and are going for face value through TicketMaster. I need some good vibes that we get tickets to the game. All the good, happy thoughts you can conjure up would be very very helpful! We are also the crazy people who got up after Michigan State won and were looking for tickets. We almost dropped A LOT of money to get tickets to the game. If we can not spend many thousands of dollars on tickets, that would be awesome!
Yea, we are crazy!
Oh and our star running back just became a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. I can tell you that he was not even talked about until after last weekend. He is the surprise pick as a candidate and I really couldn’t be more proud. I am so so proud of our team and I promise to stop talking football on here eventually. I am just so stunned that we are going to the Championship game. I just still can’t really believe it.
If your favorite team was going to the big game (Super Bowl/World Series/Championship Game) would you go?
