We are finishing up our trip to the Outer Banks today. Yes, we are driving. Yes, we are crazy. And yes, it takes over 10 hours to get there from Atlanta. Shoot me now! Just kidding. We decided to split the trip up into 2 days because no one likes to be in a car over 10 hours. It’s not fun.
So while I am driving, yes I drive all of these long trips, please enjoy what Miss Allie has to say. This post is awesome, if I do say so myself!
It’s all yours Allie!
If you’ve never written a guest post for someone else it’s really nerve racking. Like you’re all over here trying to come up with something really entertaining, but then you worry “What if her readers think I’m completely crazy?” Like I don’t wanna ruin her blog. So yeah that’s what I’ve been stressing over the past day… So even if you completely hate what I’m talking about today, don’t let Kristyn know and definitely don’t blame her for it.
But back today’s regularly scheduled programming.
While trying to come up with something interesting and equally entertaining, I was looking all over Chits and Giggles for some inspiration. My biggest inspiration came in the form of Kristyn’s love story and how she and her soon to be hubby met… ONLINE. It hit me. I know online dating. I do that all the time. And what do you know, I even post about it occasionally. Like here. and here. and here. So while Kristyn got really lucky and found her non creepy soul mate, some of us haven’t been so lucky. I’m the last one you should take advice from on this subject, but I like giving out free, unsolicited advice. So you’re welcome.
Take your time.
If he gets too serious, too soon, he’s probably unstable.
Talk on the phone. I know.
Pay attention to signs.
Don’t overanalyze everything he does or says.
Isn’t she awesome? Such great advice! Online dating is hard and takes time, so know that! I didn’t find Jeremy the first time I tried online dating. It took a while and we were both very cautious in the beginning.
Go check out her blog and show her some love today!
Now…if only we were already in NC so I could soak up some sun and drink some brewskies. Ugh. Driving sucks!
