I don’t know about you, but I don’t have a ton of time in the mornings. But, I also refuse to go to work without makeup on. So, this presents a problem. How do I look presentable at work quickly?
Introducing The 5 Minute Face.
It’s so easy to use these products to quickly get a made up face worthy of my work environment.
Hourglass Veil. This primer is the best thing I have ever used. It definitely keeps all of the makeup set for the entire day. I used this on my wedding day and I absolutely love it.
15 seconds to apply all over your face.
Makeup Forever Full Cover Concealer. When you have crappy skin like I do, concealer is so important. This stuff is a godsend because it covers up everything. I can barely see any red spots when I use this fabulous stuff.
30 seconds to apply on the problem areas.
Loreal Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour Makeup. When it comes to foundation, this stuff is perfect. Granted, it’s for a more full face, but it blends effortlessly and it feels like you aren’t wearing anything. I use this stuff almost every day and I love it.
1 minute to apply all over your face and blend well.
Makeup Forever HD Powder. I use a translucent powder to set my makeup. This helps to keep your makeup stay on your face all day long and get it ready for blush.
*I have heard that ELF has a much cheaper version of this powder. I haven’t used it yet, but I do have some to try.
15 seconds to apply all over the face.
Blush. I use Clinque blush, but you can use any type that you want. I use this after the powder so that my face is set and ready to go.
15 – 30 seconds to apply on cheek bones.
Eyeshadow. I love using the Naked 2 Palette because I have so many options. I usually keep it simple and the same for day, but I love that I could change things up if I wanted to. I also have the Naked Palette that I use as well. Playing with all the different color options is so much fun!
1 minute to apply to your eyes, depending on what colors you choose.
Step Seven – the final step
Mascara. I use It Cosmetics Tightliner Mascara. I love this because the brush is so small, so it can reach down to the base of my lashes. I typically use 2 coats of this, but I use less mascara than some might use for day use. If I want thicker lashes, I have another mascara that I use.
1 minute to apply to both sets of lashes.
