After my Provincetown debacle, which I felt terrible about, it was a new day. Jeremy and I decided to go to Plymouth, MA to see the rock that the Pilgrims stepped on. Everyone wants to see a rock, right?
I have to admit, I wasn’t super excited about going there, but it ended up being a really fun place.
We started our day by going to the Monument of the Forefathers. This is really cool and really big. I liked it because it has the names of the Pilgrims that first came over on the Mayflower. I mean, that’s pretty awesome. It also had the etching below on all four sides of the Monument. There were different pictures for different things that happened to the Pilgrims. It was pretty neat!
This is the main street at Plymouth. We were on our way to the Pilgrim Museum.
The other side of the main street.
We decided to park and just walk everywhere since we were sure how parking would be. I am actually happy we did that because we were able to see more of the city itself and it was fun to walk around like we knew what we were doing!
This is a cemetery that has the graves of the Pilgrims, including William Bradford. The views were amazing up here!
This is the rock. I can’t really say much about this rock, except it’s a rock.
The view from where the Pilgrims first stepped onto land.
The trip to Plymouth was really awesome. And you are able to learn so much about the Pilgrims that they don’t teach you in school. I wish we could have taken pictures in the museum, but we couldn’t. Oh well!
The view during sunset from our back porch. Gorgeous!
The flowers on Cape Cod are amazing. They are so colorful and just gorgeous. I don’t think these pictures do them justice!
The ocean on our last day. The weather wasn’t the best, but I love the ocean, so I don’t really care!
So this concludes our Cape Cod trip. It was amazing to go there and so much fun! It was relaxing and just perfect. Granted, I got sick while we were there, but it was worth it to just have been up there. So amazing!
